What's the cheapest way to get from Orlando International Airport to Disney World?
It depends on your group size, luggage, and how many nights you're staying. A solo traveler or couple often does best on Mears Connect Standard's per-person shared shuttle rate, while a larger group can come out ahead on rideshare or a private car split among more people. This tool prices your specific group against all of them and shows the cheapest option and the dollar gap, rather than a one-size-fits-all answer.
What's the difference between Mears Connect Standard and Express?
Both are shared shuttles between MCO and Disney World resorts, but Standard makes multiple stops and is priced per person with a discounted child rate. Express is a round-trip-only service that makes your hotel the first stop after the airport and the last stop before returning, priced as one flat rate for the vehicle (up to 4 guests) plus a per-person charge beyond that.
Do kids ride free to Disney World from the airport?
On Mears Connect Standard, kids under 3 ride free and kids 3 to 9 get a discounted rate (Express counts every guest, any age, toward its 4); guests 10 and up pay the adult rate. Rideshare, private car and rental car pricing isn't broken out by age; every guest counts toward the vehicle's capacity.
Is renting a car worth it just for the airport trip?
Usually not just for the transfer. A rental car's cost in this tool covers your whole stay (the daily rate, tolls, gas, and resort parking), not only the trip to and from the airport, so it's only the cheapest choice when you'd also want a car for driving during your visit, including to the theme parks, where standard parking is included for Disney resort, Swan and Dolphin guests.
