Welcome to Stack the Magic
We're real people with real young families who love Disney World, and we started Stack the Magic to be the guide we wished we had. Here's who we are, why we built this, and what to expect.
What is Stack the Magic?
Stack the Magic was built by real Disney families as the guide we wished we had from the start: planning strategies, veteran tips, honest numbers and tools that do the math, so you get more magic out of your next trip.
We're Disney World veterans, not Florida locals: families who rack up 50-plus combined park days a year inside Walt Disney World. We're real people with real young families and a ton of trips behind us, and planning one can still feel overwhelming. However much it does, we're here to share every tip and trick we know, plus tools that do the math for you, so your vacation is magical and memorable.
Everything goes out under one name: Stack the Magic. What's behind it is real: real people, real kids, real trips.
Why we're doing this
We grew up going to Disney, and now we're continuing the tradition with families of our own. Most of us on this team have young kids, and they're only little once. With ticket prices, Lightning Lane and a maze of resort and dining options in the mix, a Disney trip is a big investment, the kind of once-in-a-lifetime memory most families only get to make every few years, and it's natural to want to get it right.
That's why we built Stack the Magic to be the guide we wished we had: practical tips, honest numbers and tools that do the math, so you can spend less time worrying about the plan and more time in the magic.
What can you expect?
- Strategy, not just inspiration. Plays for getting more out of every dollar and every park day, from credit cards and DVC to tickets and gear, with the thinking behind each one.
- Tips we've tried ourselves. Tactics and recommendations from the real people behind Stack the Magic, tested on our own trips: what's worth doing, what we'd skip, and how to eat well with food allergies in the parks.
- Tools that do the math. Free planning tools for the big questions, like how far your budget can go, which resort gives you the most value and whether Lightning Lane is worth it.
- Numbers we check. Every number is checked against an official price or a published source, and we show our work. Prices change often, so confirm with Disney before you book.
- News and nostalgia. Price changes and park news that affect your trip, and the stories and history that make Disney Disney.
The honest details
