Quick Answer: Disney's Lakeshore Lodge, the new Disney Vacation Club resort on Bay Lake, opens July 1, 2027, and anyone can book a cash stay now. Early-summer rack rates run from about $500 a night for a Duo Studio to about $2,900 to $3,650 for a two-bedroom Lake House. Booking with DVC points isn't open yet, and Disney hasn't announced a price per point or the resort's regular point chart.

If you've been hoping to put a brand-new Disney resort on your summer 2027 trip, the door opened in early October. Disney rolled out booking over three days, as its Parks Blog laid out: DVC members first on October 6 through Member Services, Annual Passholders on October 7, and everyone else online or by phone from October 8. All three are cash reservations. You don't need to own DVC to stay here, and owners can't use their points for a regular stay yet.

What Disney has confirmed about Lakeshore Lodge

Lakeshore Lodge is a Deluxe Villa resort with 967 rooms on the south shore of Bay Lake, in the Magic Kingdom area. Disney calls it a boat ride from Magic Kingdom and lists boats and buses for getting around, but not the monorail.

  • Duo Studios sleep two and are themed to Encanto.
  • Resort Studios and Deluxe Studios sleep up to four; the Deluxe Studios lean on Bambi.
  • One-, two- and three-bedroom villas sleep up to five, nine and twelve. The three-bedroom Grand Villas are themed to Fantasia.
  • Lake Houses are freestanding A-frames, one or two bedrooms (sleeping five or eight), with a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a private porch overlooking the water, themed to Brother Bear.
  • Club level rooms get The Artist's Nest, a concierge lounge with Magic Kingdom fireworks views.

For the pool days, there's Lakeshore Lagoon (zero-entry, with a spiral slide), the Daydream River lazy river, Cypress Point, a leisure pool and spa with Magic Kingdom fireworks views, and splash and play areas for kids. Moonglade is the lakefront table-service restaurant, Bay Lake Provisions the all-day quick-service market, and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill the pool bar, with two lounges, Dandelion Terrace and Branch & Brush.

The theme is nature through Disney stories, with Pocahontas in the lobby, and Disney says a plaque on the grounds honors a historic attraction that once stood on the site.

What a night costs in July and August 2027

Disney's room prices live inside its booking flow, so these come from quotes DVC Fan and Disney Tourist Blog got from Disney in the first days of booking, and most room types lined up closely. DVC Fan's opening-night quotes include tax; Disney Tourist Blog's summer rates don't say, and it found little change from July into September. Treat them as rack-rate ballparks, not quotes for your dates.

RoomRack rate per night, summer 2027
Duo StudioAbout $500
Deluxe StudioAbout $600 to $750
Club-level Resort StudioAbout $850 to $1,100
One-bedroom villaAbout $850 to $1,150
Two-bedroom villaAbout $1,500 to $1,900
Two-bedroom Lake HouseAbout $2,900 to $3,650

Rates as quoted by DVC Fan (July 1, 2027, tax included) and Disney Tourist Blog (summer 2027), rounded. Last Checked: October 16, 2026.

Disney hasn't announced a discount for these dates, so that's full price. To weigh Lakeshore against a deluxe resort you already know, our Hotel Comparison tool lines up the rest of Disney's resorts, and our guide to every resort tier covers who each one suits.

Booking with DVC points: not yet

Disney hasn't said when owners can book regular stays with points, and there's no sales price per point or regular point chart yet. Nobody can honestly turn Lakeshore points into a per-night price today, so we won't guess.

The one chart that is out covers the First Wave, a members-only three-night preview from June 24 to 27, 2027. Booking opens November 7, 2026, at 10 a.m., for owners whose points qualify for Membership Extras.

Disney's First Wave chart runs from 184 points for a Duo Studio to 532 for a three-bedroom Grand Villa, for the first two guests. Those points buy a package with two 3-day Park Hopper tickets, a few included meals and a $200 dining card for each guest 3 and older, so they're no guide to a normal night.

So, should you book now?

Book a cash stay now if the first summer matters to you and your dates are firm, or if you've got your heart set on a Lake House, which Disney says is exclusive to this resort. Hold off if you're an owner hoping to use points, or if price matters more than being early: these are full rack rates. Either way, read the deposit and cancellation terms in Disney's checkout before you pay.
