The Stack the Magic Game Room: free games for a Walt Disney World trip, shown on a phone
Quick Answer: The Game Room is our new home for free games we made for your Walt Disney World trip, made for a phone in a ride line, at a table waiting for food or on a rainy hotel afternoon. Twelve games are live now, from trivia and a daily word search to arcade-style Popcorn Catch and Monorail Bounce, plus four that joined after launch: Rope Drop Dash, Sky Carpet, Bus Loop and Fireworks Echo. They play right in your phone's browser with no app, account or sign-up.

You know the moment. The line has stopped moving, the menus were collected ten minutes ago, or the afternoon storm has everyone back in the hotel room, and somebody small wants to know what there is to do. We built the Game Room for exactly that stretch of the day.

Stack the Magic Trivia asks how well you really know Walt Disney World. Pick a topic and climb four rounds, from Rookie to the Park Legend Final Round, with streak bonuses and one-time power-ups. Every answer comes with a "did you know" fact, so even a wrong guess teaches you something. Play solo, or pass the phone around a group of two to four.

Stack the Magic Word Search hides park, ride, snack and resort names in a grid of letters, with a hidden message in the leftover letters once you find them all. Today's puzzle is the same for everyone, so you can race the rest of your group, and themed puzzles come in three levels.

Games for the table

Stack the Magic Tic-Tac-Toe swaps the X's and O's for park snacks like a churro, a pretzel and a snow cone. Play Classic, Vanishing (only three snacks each on the board, so no draws) or Trivia squares (answer a question to claim your square). Take on the computer at three levels or pass one phone between two players, five games to a series.

Stack the Magic Memory Game deals face-down cards of park snacks and day-at-the-park things. Flip two at a time and remember where everything is. Solo players chase stars for the fewest moves and get one Peek a game, and two to four players can pass the phone, where a match earns another turn and the most pairs wins.

Build, ride, catch and bounce

Stack the Magic Park Builder hands you an empty park. Lay paths from the gate, add rides, snack stands, shops and trees, and keep your guests happy as the coins roll in. Five challenge days each have a goal, stars open up bigger rides, and Parade and Fireworks give you a boost once a day.

Stack the Magic Coaster puts you at the front of the train. Steer the lead car around the park, pick up waiting riders to add cars, and keep clear of the fence and your own train as it grows and speeds up. Grab golden tickets for bonus points, a Lift hill to slow things down or a Loop to cross your own train once.

Stack the Magic Popcorn Catch gives you a striped bucket and a sky full of falling popcorn. Slide it to catch the kernels and dodge the sneakers, rain clouds and pinecones that fall with them. In Levels, you fill the bucket before the timer runs out and each wrong catch costs a life, across ten levels that get faster as you go. Endless has no timer and ends at your first wrong catch.

Stack the Magic Monorail Bounce is a bounce-and-clear game: slide a monorail car along its beam to bounce the gold star into rows of balloons, lanterns and marquee signs, and clear them all to finish the level. Eight levels get faster as you go, you have three lives, and falling Long Car and Extra Life bonuses help.

Free, no app, and nothing saved yet

All twelve games are free and run in any modern phone browser. Kids are often the ones playing, so any player names you type stay on the phone you're using and never go into a form, a link or an email.

Every Walt Disney World fact in the games is checked against at least two named sources, and the games with facts in them list their sources under the board. Stack the Magic is independent and isn't affiliated with Disney: the games use Walt Disney World names only as facts to play with, and the pictures are our own.

Nothing is saved between visits yet, so each game starts fresh next time, though the Share button still lets you brag. More games are on the way. Grown-ups can join for free under any game to save high scores and hear when new games land.

Bookmark the Game Room before your trip. The next time the line stops moving, you'll have something better to do than refresh the wait times.
