Affiliate Program Terms
The terms for Stack the Magic's affiliate program: who can join, what counts, how you're paid, and how to promote us.
Last updated: October 30, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Stack the Magic LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("Stack the Magic," "we," "us"), about our affiliate program. They apply once we accept you into the program and you tell us in writing (a reply to our acceptance email is enough) that you agree to them. Our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy also apply. If they conflict with these terms about the affiliate program, these terms control.
1. Who can join
You must be at least 18 years old, live in the United States, and be able to give us a completed IRS Form W-9. You can be a person or a business. Apply by emailing partner@stackthemagic.com with your name, city and state, links to every social profile you'd use to promote us (with rough audience size), your website if you have one, two or three links to recent Disney or travel content you've made, how you'd promote us, and a few sentences on why you want to work with us. We decide who to accept, and we don't have to give a reason.
2. Your link
When we accept you, we give you a personal code and explain how to add it to any stackthemagic.com address. We may change your code if we need to and will tell you if we do.
3. What counts
- A click is a visit to stackthemagic.com through your link, counted once per browser session.
- A sign-up is a new free Stack the Magic account that our site credits to your code because the person arrived through your link. It counts only after the person confirms their email address. Someone who already had an account doesn't count again.
Our records decide what counts. Some visits can't be credited, for example when someone blocks scripts, clears their browser in between, or signs up later on another device. We aren't responsible for clicks or sign-ups our records don't credit to you.
4. What you earn
You earn the rate per approved sign-up set out in your acceptance email, unless we agree a different rate with you in writing. Months are calendar months in U.S. Eastern time. Your report shows estimated earnings for the current month; they become final after our review.
5. Our monthly review
After each month ends, we review its sign-ups. We don't approve sign-ups that we reasonably believe are fake, duplicate, automated, made with disposable or made-up email addresses, made by you or on your behalf, or brought in through anything section 7 doesn't allow. A sign-up whose account is deleted before we finish that month's review doesn't count. Our decision after the review is final, and we can tell you how many sign-ups we didn't approve, but not who they were.
6. How and when we pay
- We pay approved earnings for a month by the 15th of the following month.
- We pay by direct deposit (ACH) to the U.S. bank account you give us, or by mailed check if you ask for one. Either way, there's no fee to you. A direct deposit usually arrives within a business day; a check is mailed by the 15th and can take up to 10 business days to reach you.
- We pay once your balance reaches $25. A smaller balance carries forward and adds to the next month's.
- We need your completed Form W-9 and your bank details (or, for a check, your mailing address) before your first payment. We collect both through our bank's secure request, and earnings wait until we have them.
- You're responsible for your own taxes. We report payments to the IRS as the law requires, for example on Form 1099-NEC.
- If we pay you something by mistake, or for sign-ups we later find weren't allowed under section 7, we can take it out of later payments or ask you to pay it back.
7. How you promote us
You agree to:
- Disclose the relationship clearly in every post, video, email or page that uses your link, where people will see it before they click (for example "#ad" or "affiliate link" up front, not buried in a list of hashtags), as the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides require.
- Be honest about Stack the Magic and only describe what's actually on our site.
- Follow the laws and the rules of every platform you post on, including laws on email and text messages.
You agree not to:
- Pay, reward or offer anything to people for signing up, or ask friends or family to sign up so you earn.
- Sign up yourself, use fake or extra email addresses, or use bots, scripts or any automated sign-ups or clicks.
- Send spam or unsolicited messages, or post your link where it isn't allowed.
- Bid on "Stack the Magic," "stackthemagic" or similar terms in search or social ads, or run ads that send people straight to our site through your link, without our written OK.
- Hide your link, load it without a click, or set it in a way that credits you for visits you didn't send.
- Say or suggest that Stack the Magic is connected with, sponsored by or endorsed by Disney, or that you work for Stack the Magic.
- Promote us in content made for children under 13.
8. Our name and logo
While you're in the program, you may use the name "Stack the Magic" in your own words to describe our site and link to it. Using our logo, mascot, images or other brand assets needs our written OK first. You don't get any other rights in our name, content or brand.
9. Your report
We share a report with you (a Google Sheet you can view) showing your clicks, sign-ups, earnings and payments as totals. We never share who signed up or anything else about the people you send us. To run the program, we keep your name, contact details, payment details and W-9, and use them only for the program, payments and taxes.
10. Our relationship
You're an independent contractor, not our employee, partner or agent. You can't make promises or agreements on our behalf. The program isn't exclusive: you can work with others, and we can work with other affiliates.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms or the program, including the rate, by emailing you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you keep using your link after that, you accept the change. A change never reduces earnings already approved.
12. Ending the program or your part in it
You or we can end your participation at any time by email. Clicks and sign-ups stop counting the day it ends. We'll pay approved earnings for completed months once our review is done. If your approved balance is under $25 when your participation ends, it isn't paid. If you break these terms, we can end your participation right away and not pay earnings connected to the breach.
13. No guarantee, limits and responsibility
We don't promise any level of clicks, sign-ups or earnings, and we may pause or end the program. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the amounts we paid you in the 12 months before the claim. You're responsible for the content you create and agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims caused by your content or by your breaking these terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by Pennsylvania law, and any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts in Pennsylvania, as in our Terms of Use.
