## At the parks

- Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace at the Polynesian is closed through mid-December, pushed back from the late-October target, and [BlogMickey](https://blogmickey.com/2026/10/disney-world-delays-trader-sams-tiki-terrace-reopening-again/?ref=stackthemagic.com) quotes Disney's notice, which blames refurbishment at the Great Ceremonial House ([WDWNT](https://wdwnt.com/2026/10/trader-sams-tiki-terrace-refurbishment-extended-at-disneys-polynesian-village-resort/?ref=stackthemagic.com) reports the same).
- No exact reopening date has been given, and [Disney's page](https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/polynesian-resort/trader-sams-tiki-terrace/?ref=stackthemagic.com) still says only "currently closed for refurbishment."
- Staying at the Polynesian or weighing a Deluxe for the holidays? [Our Hotel Comparison tool](https://www.stackthemagic.com/hotel-comparison/) puts the options side by side.
- Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on Thursday, Dec. 3 has sold out, per [WDWNT](https://wdwnt.com/2026/10/mickeys-very-merry-christmas-party-sells-out-for-december-3-at-magic-kingdom/?ref=stackthemagic.com) and [MickeyBlog](https://mickeyblog.com/2026/10/27/two-more-december-dates-sell-out-for-mickeys-very-merry-christmas-party/?ref=stackthemagic.com), so check Disney's ticket page for what's left (tickets ran $189 to $229 plus tax, prices as of Oct. 11, per our Christmas Party guide below).
